ABOUT
THIS BOOK |
The
first volume titled "Nanoparticles: Synthesis, Characterization
and Applications" edited by Ramesh Chaughule and R. V.
Ramanujan and the second volume titled "Applications of
Nanomaterials" edited by Ramesh Chaughule and S. C. Watawe both
published by American Scientific Publishers. This third volume in
this series addresses a variety of techniques in catalysis with the
emphasis on green chemistry, methods in achieving best energy
efficiencies and formulation and characterization properties of
nanoparticulate drug delivery systems using nanoparticles. This book
covers three important research topics namely catalysis, energy and
drug delivery. The book contains fourteen review chapters organized
according to the applications of nanoparticles; six chapters are
devoted to applications of nanoscale catalysis, three chapters on
focused on energy aspects and four chapter summarize different drug
delivery systems. The first chapter discusses the importance of
nanoparticles that can be inter-related between catalysis, energy
and drug delivery. This book serves as a valuable guide for
researchers and students working in chemistry, physics, materials
science, bioengineering and medicine. |
