| Aims and Scope |
| Nanomedicine and Nanobiology (NMB) is a
multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed international journal covering the most
important scientific fields of the twenty-first century- nanotechnology
for medical applications. The core research areas within the scope of
this journal include: nanoscale drugs and drug delivery systems;
diagnosis, monitoring, prediction, therapy, prevention, and treatment of
various types of cancer and other diseases; pharmaceutics,
pharmacokinetic behavior, pharmacodynamics, safety and toxicology of
biomedicine, molecular therapy, regenerative medicine, biomedical
imaging technologies, and structural nanobiology. The journal publishes
original rapid communications, full research papers, critical reviews
(with author's photo and biography), and perspectives on emerging new
research dealing with nanoscale medicine and biology. Rapid
communications on new findings with breakthrough results will be
considered for accelerated publication. The selected peer-reviewed
papers from scientific meetings, symposia and workshops related to
journal "aims and scope" are also published. Authors will

| NANOMEDICINE AND NANOBIOLOGY deals with
all branches of medicine and biology including but not limited to;
nanoscale drugs and delivery systems, nanocarriers, biomedicine, drug
design and drug discovery, diagnosis, disease progression, therapy,
prevention, treatment of all types of cancer and other diseases,
molecular and cellular neuroscience, neuropharmaceutics, regenerative
medicine, nanotoxicology, solid lipid nanoparticles, liposomes,
polysaccharides, polyesters, micelles, different route-based delivery
systems such as oral, pulmonary, ocular, and dermal, stem cells in
cancer treatment, structural glycobiology, cellular processes,
immunotherapy, biological markers, molecular imaging, gene delivery,
interactions of nanobiomaterials with cells, tissues, and organs;
membrane structure and function; protein interactions; biological
macromolecules such as proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, DNA-based
self-assemblies, biomolecules, cells, biochips, biocompatibility aspects
of nanomaterials, drug and protein delivery, BioNEMS/MEMS, nanoscale
physiology and pathology, nanoscale proteomics, nanoscale cellular and
tissue engineering, biomimetics, biosensors, structural bioinformatics,
and computational aspects of nanoscale medicine and biology. |
